Built for the camera you already carry

Parallax Supply started in a Union City garage in 2019, out of a simple frustration: phone cameras had become genuinely good, and the accessories around them had not. Screw-on clips that drifted out of alignment. Filters that turned skies green. Cases that fit one model and were landfill twelve months later.

A system, not a pile of adapters

So we started at the mount. One bayonet, machined to a tolerance tight enough that glass seats the same way every time, built into a case that survives a season. Everything we have made since — 191 products and counting — clicks into that same interface: lenses, filters, cages, MagSafe plates, grips.

How we make things

• Optics first. Our lenses use multi-element designs with broadband coatings, not plastic singlets. Filters are ground from Schott B270 glass and measured for colour shift before a batch is approved.
• Small runs. We would rather sell out than ship a compromise. Most products are made in batches of a few thousand, which lets us revise tooling between runs when field feedback tells us to.
• Repair over replace. Straps, buckles and lens caps are sold individually. A worn part should not retire an otherwise good piece of gear.

Where we are

Design, testing and customer support all happen in Union City, Pennsylvania. Manufacturing is split between partners in China and the US depending on the process; the country of origin is listed in the spec table on every product page, because you should not have to ask.
